Big Trees, Kilts and a Nor Cal Wedding

About a month ago, the moment had arrived! It was Kirstie and Stephen's big day. I had been looking forward to it for well over a year and the weekend had finally come. Me and one of my best pals packed up our stuff and flew up North to beautiful, San Jose. She and I had the pleasure of exploring the area the day before the wedding. The morning of the wedding, I went for a walk and sat on the beach of Santa Cruz. While eating a bagel and drinking some coffee, I was able to reflect on what an amazing journey that has been. I was so blessed to be photographing a destination wedding for some incredibly lovely humans. Later that morning, we made the drive up to Boulder Creek where we found ourselves into a BEAUTIFUL redwood laden, Camp Campbell. The wedding was a small gathering under a canopy of nature's pure bliss. It was a day filled with love, laughter and kilts. (Special shout out to my sister, Micaela who made the trip with me and was the best assistant/extra bridesmaid/groomslady/camera grabber and on the spot 2nd shooter in training :) We had the best time and can't wait to see where these guys go on their adventure as husband and wife. Congratulations, McCalls!
