First day of Freedom

It's been a minute since I've posted a blog. I've been pretty consistent on social media but, who has the time to sit down and write? Exactly. Which brings me to my current post.

My girls have gone back to school. Let me be clear.

ALL.

THREE.

OF.

MY.

GIRLS.

ARE.

NOW.

SCHOOL.

BOUND.

My youngest recently started pre-school and for the first time in roughly 7 years, I have some time to myself during the day. What is the phenomena I have heard about?

Freedom.

As a result, I decided to capture what I hope every stay-at-home parent can relate to when the day finally comes and you hear the sound of your own thoughts. YOU can choose what you hear on the radio. YOU can eat your favorite things without sharing....and you can finally go to Target and check out what Chip and Joanna are trying to sell you without the relentless pleading to go to the toy section.

I present...my first day of freedom. (And not without moments of humility...or Legos. Because...do they ever really leave us even though they are not technically around? Never :).
